Welcome to learn and practice Āyurvedaआयुर्वेद in our Gurukulam (teacher- disciple) program. Our Āyurveda educational programs include: I) Āyurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant, II) Āyurvedic Practitioner, and III) Āyurvedic Physician as noted below. If you are a seasoned Āyurvedic practitioner or from other wellness and health disciplines, you also have the option to customize your program based on the areas you want to further your studies and clinical practice.
Āyurveda is the science of life & longevity and it states that the purpose of life is to self-realize and to live a life with purpose, health and wealth. The programs are highly experiential and integrate the theoretical, practical and spiritual insight of Āyurveda. Āyurveda, other sister sciences such as Yoga, Vastu, Tantra, and Jyotisha are rooted in the eternal Vedic sciences from ancient India. Our Āyurveda programs will enable you in your own personal journey as well as to professionally serve your clients find their purpose in life, regain their health & longevity, claim their wealth, and self-realize.
I. Āyurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant gurukulam – 850 – 1,000 hours
The Āyurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant studies.
In this program you will study at your own pace the following:
-Foundations of Āyurveda
-Food and Lifestyle as Medicine
-Āyurvedic and Modern Anatomy and Physiology
-Clinic practicum
-Samskritam
-Yoga and Yoga applied as Therapy
-Introduction to Veda, Jyotish, Vastu, and Tantra
II. Āyurvedic Practitioner gurukulam – 1,650 – 2,000 hours
In addition to the above from the Āyurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant
The Āyurvedic Practitioner. In this program you will study at your own pace the following:
-Introduction to classical textbooks of Āyurveda
-Medical terminology, Ayurvedic and modern
-Samskrita
-Pathophysiology
-Clinical assessments of Srotamsi and Dhatu, major bodily channels and tissues
-Dravyaguna Shastra, Herbology
-Yoga and Yoga as Therapy
-Nadi Vijnanam, pulse diagnosis
-Introduction to Marma Chikitsa
-Foundation of Shodana and Shamana Chikitsa, Panchakarma & body therapies
-Introduction to medical astrology (Jyotish) & Vastu, science of space/design
-Student clinic practicum and Gurukula (client consultations)
III. Āyurvedic Physician gurukulam – 4,800 minimum
In addition to the above from the Āyurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Consultant and the Āyurvedic Practitioner, the Āyurvedic Physician gurukulam includes:
-Dravyaguna Shastra, Herbology – Intermediate and Advance
-Classical textbooks of Āyurveda
-Shodana Chikitsa, Panchakarma & body therapies
-Case Management and Pathophysiology
-Shamana Chikitsa, Palliative and Outpatient Consultations
-Samskrita
-Nadi Vijnanam, pulse diagnosis
-Yoga as Therapy
-Student clinic practicum and Gurukula (client consultations)
-Internship and practicum
