Vedic Yoga’s purpose is find your true self and balance the body, mind and spirit. Vedic Yoga practice includes 50-60 minutes of (Asana) postures to heal the body and mind as well as build muscle tonality & flexibility. In addition, Yoga postures gently activate marmani (“acupressure” points) to bring the body and mind back to health. Vedic Yoga practice includes 5 minutes of pranayam (“breathing”) exercises to increase the oxygenation/lifeforce (“Prana”) throughout the body and 5 minutes of silence/meditation. You will benefit by experiencing increased energy, endurance, muscle tone, flexibility, as well as be more balanced in your emotions throughout the day. Vedic tradition is the oldest science from India, which includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Tantra, Astrology and Vastu.
