Perhaps the only book you may need to self-realize. Come find your true Self as it contains the science of “how to live”. We will focus on understanding the deeper meanings and practices and relationship to the Vedic tradition. Each session will include: chapter highlights/open discussion/Q&A followed by meditation and practicum relevant to the chapter. Sessions will be hosted by Ashwin Kumar, Doctor of Ayurveda and Vedic Sciences and third generation Kriyaban.

-Healing complex imbalances & diseases with Ayurveda and Panchakarma, Yoga, and other Vedic practices

-Underlying practices both in Vedas and Autobiography of a Yogi

-Overview of the Vedas and related ancient sanskrit texts

-Basics of Sanskritam

-Art of Vastu, energy balancing for home and interior spaces

-Jyotisha- Vedic/Indian astrology

The Vedic tradition is referenced throughout the Autobiography of a Yogi. The Vedic tradition is rooted in the eternal Vedas, and other supporting ancient works such as the Upanishads. The Vedic tradition includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Tantra, Vastu, Astrology and more. We will also explore the origin and practices of Yoga, Kriya Yoga and different lineages to date as well as the Guru-Parampara (teacher-disciple relationship).

We typically cover one chapter per week. Join in the discussion or just listen and enjoy. This group is only for those who are committed to attending and participating – please register only if you are truly committed to attending regularly.

Location: Maple Park 802 E Maple St. Glendale, CA. Plenty of free parking. In addition, there is Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation class immediately following, welcome to attend. All levels welcomed.
