Vedic Yoga’s purpose is find your true Self, purpose, and balance the body, mind and spirit.  Vedic Yoga practice includes 35 minutes of (Asana) postures to heal the body and mind, and secondarily build muscle tonality, flexibility, and aerobic capacity.  In addition, Yoga postures gently activate marmani (“acupressure” points) to bring you back to body and mind health. Vedic Yoga practice also includes 5 – 10 minutes of prāṇāyāma (प्राणायाम, “control of lifeforce/breath”) exercises to increase the oxygenation/lifeforce (“prāṇa”) throughout the body and 35 minutes of silence/meditation.  You will benefit by experiencing increased energy, endurance, vitality, muscle tone, flexibility, as well as be more balanced in your emotions throughout the day.  Vedic Sciences are the oldest sciences from the Himalayas and India subcontinent, which includes Āyurveda, Yoga, Tantra, Jyotisha, and Vāstu, among many other Vedic disciplines.
