Vedic Yoga’s purpose is find your true self and balance the body, mind and spirit. Vedic Yoga practice (saadhana) is usually 75 minutes. It includes 30 minutes of (Asana) postures to heal the body and mind as well as build muscle tonality & flexibility. In addition, Yoga postures gently activate marmani (“acupressure” points) to bring the body and mind back to health. It is followed by 5 minutes of pranayam (“breathing”) exercises to rebalance the lifeforce (“Prana”), 40 minutes of silence/meditation, and a discussion (Sangha) to answer any of your questions about life, health, relationship, career, spirituality, etc. You will benefit by experiencing increased energy, endurance, muscle tone, flexibility, as well as be more balanced in your emotions throughout the day.
